Poppy Champlin has been playing Wiley’s Comedy Niteclub since 1990. She held the record for being a headliner who was on stage the longest – close to two hours. A favorite Chicago comic then, now, she has been returning to Wiley’s with the Queer Queens of Qomedy as producer and performer and has been entertaining the LGBT community for over five years. This year, Poppy is returning on her own. Poppy will hold court at Wiley’s only this time as the reigning solo Queer Queen of Qomedy. Come out and see why Poppy is The Queen as she holds court with her energetic style of comedy that engages the crowd and encompasses personal stories, silly song parodies, relationship observations along with impressions and a plethora of jokes that everyone can relate to. Poppy is a one woman show! You may have seen her on Showtime, HBO or the LOGO Network or caught her live on either the Olivia Cruises or the Atlantis Cruises. Come out to Wiley’s and hail the Queen in person!
